Our service

Where your support goes.

Almost everything we raise stays in East County. Here's what it pays for.

Lions collecting eyeglassesSince 1994
Sight program

Free eye exams and glasses for local kids.

If a child's family can't afford an eye exam or glasses, we pay for both. LensCrafters has been our optician since 1997, so most students get their glasses the same day they're ordered.

We recycle used glasses for people who need them.

You can also bring them to any Monday meeting. Call ahead to confirm a location still has a collection box.

ECV Lions Foundation

Give to the Foundation. It's tax-deductible.

The El Cajon Valley Lions Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed in October 1997. It raises money to help people in the El Cajon Valley, especially people who are sight- or hearing-impaired and people other agencies don't reach.

Trustees are club members elected by the membership. You don't need to be a Lion to give, and funding isn't limited to Lions projects.
