Serving El Cajon since 1947.
We're one of more than 46,000 Lions clubs worldwide, and we've been working in East San Diego County for over 75 years.
Our motto has two words: We Serve.
Since 1917, Lions clubs have given people a way to give back to their communities, from cleaning up a local park to bringing sight to people who've lost it. Today there are more than 1.4 million Lions in over 200 countries.
Here in El Cajon, that has looked like free eyeglasses for school kids, food boxes every Christmas, a pancake breakfast every fall, and support for local charities that don't get much attention.
Lions Clubs International founded
Started in Chicago. It's now the world's largest service club organization.

Eyeglass Program launches

We set up a 501(c)(3) so donations and bequests can be tax-deductible. LensCrafters became our optician partner the same year.

Stronger together
We get more done as a club than any of us could alone, and we believe local problems have local solutions.
Local and global
We love our own club, and we're connected to Lions around the world working toward a world at peace.
Serious about service, fun about it too
We hold ourselves to high ethical standards, and we have a good time doing the work.
